SBS

Ensoft-T® is our brand name for unsaturated styrenic block copolymer, SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) based compounds.  In these series SBS forms the soft elastomeric phase; the rigid phase consists of Polypropylene (PP) or Polystyrene (PS).  Ensoft-T® grades have excellent elasticity, and are suitable for all applications with limited temperature and weathering resistance requirements.  This limitation is due to the unsaturated (presence of double bonds) structure of SBS. Ensoft-T® range can easily be self-colored with the use of proper MB or provided as pre-colored compounds. Typical properties of Ensoft-T® series are given below.
* Hardness range: 30 Shore A to 45Shore D.
* Service Temperature: -50 - +70°C (dynamic) -50 - +110C (Static/Peak)
* Good abrasion resistance and antislip effect.
* Moderate UV, ozone and weathering resistance due to presence of double bonds
* Ease of processing (no predrying is required) and recyclability
* Adhesion to PS or polyolefins
